The Atlanta School of the Bible is an education program which helps believers to expand their understanding of the Bible and to be prepared for ministry in the local church.

 

Students: Enrollment is open to men and women who have a sincere desire to know more of God’s Word. No academic prerequisites are in effect. Enrollment is open to adults of all ages and also to high school Juniors and Seniors.

 

Graduation: Complete all twelve courses and earn a Biblical Studies Certificate!  Graduates may participate in the commencement exercises of The Crown College in Powell, TN. 

 

Cost: Classes are affordably priced at $25 per class or $60 for all three classes offered each semester. This cost includes a beautifully prepared Student Notebook for each course.

Spring 2024 Schedule

 

Begins January 21 through April 14 (12 Sundays)

​

2:00-2:40 p.m. – Methods of Bible Study

Helpful methods to assist believers in personal Bible study. Students learn principles of biblical interpretation to guide them in understanding different passages of Scripture such as narratives, psalms, proverbs, parables, and prophecy.

 

2:45-3:25 p.m. – Basic Bible Doctrine II

Clear Bible teaching in the subjects of anthropology (the study of man), hamartiology (the study of sin), soteriology (the study of salvation), ecclesiology (the study of the church), and eschatology (the study of end times).

 

3:30-4:10 p.m. – Survey of the Old Testament II

A survey of the Books of Poetry (Job through the Song of Solomon), the Major Prophets (Isaiah through Daniel), and the Minor Prophets (Hosea through Malachi) of the Old Testament.
