I Have a Spiritual Question

We would love to assist you! Before we begin, it will be helpful to determine where you are in your spiritual life. Has there ever been a time when you turned from your sin and asked Jesus Christ to be your Saviour? In preparation for your appointment, there are five truths you must know!

  1. God Loves You!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believers in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
God created you (Isaiah 43:7) and has a special purpose for your life (Ephesians 2:10). He knows everything about you, right down to the number of hairs on your head (Luke 12:7)!

  2. All Men Are Sinners
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one” (Romans 3:10).
The Bible teaches us that man is not inherently good; we are born sinners. As hard as we might try, it is impossible for us to live a sinless life because we are born with a nature bent towards sin.

  3. Sin Must Be Paid For
For the wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23).
Sin always has a consequence. The Bible teaches us that the consequence for sin is death. This is not just talking about death at the end of our lives, but rather spiritual death—eternal separation from God in hell.

  4. Jesus Christ Paid the Price for Our Sins
But commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
God loves you so much that He became a man without ceasing to be God. We call Him Jesus. He lived a perfect, sinless life and then took the punishment for our sins on the cross of Calvary. He did not stay dead, however! Three days later, He conquered death and rose again.

  5. I Must Personally Pray to Accept Jesus Christ As My Saviour
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9).
“…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
The price of sin has already been paid! Christ took our punishment. What a gift! But as it is with all gifts, the receiver must choose whether they will accept it or throw it away. We accept God’s gift of salvation by believing that Jesus’ work at Calvary is all that is needed to satisfy the consequence of sin. We then must pray (“
confess with thy mouth”) and ask Jesus Christ to be our Saviour. This makes us God’s child! (John 1:12)
